The Voice It requires that you use a micro-SD card and that the card be formatted as “exFAT”.\u00a0 \u00a0 Then you must copy all sound files to the card before the Voice It can “speak”.<\/p>\n

If Necessary, Format the SD Card as exFAT<\/h2>\n

To check the formatting of your SD card, insert it into your PC and then right click on the card and choose Properties:<\/p>\n

This new 8 Gb SD card has been formatted as FAT32 by the manufacturer:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The card must be formatted as “exFAT”, so right click on the card again, and this time choose “Format…”:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Choose “exFat” from the File system pull-down:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Now press the “Start” button.\u00a0 You’ll be warned that all data on the card will be lost – this is OK.\u00a0 \u00a0 When the reformatting quickly completes you’re ready to put the sound files on the SD card.<\/p>\n

Copy the Sound Files to the SD Card<\/h2>\n

Navigate to your “Voice It” folder:<\/p>\n

and then to the WAV files folder:<\/p>\n

Copy the entire contents of the WAV files folder to the SD card.<\/p>\n

Now you’re ready to continue with the Voice It assembly process.<\/p>\n
