The ProSlate and WinSlate lines of AAC systems are manufactured by Forbes AAC. Forbes uses specialized corner clips to attach their official keyguards. Unfortunately, they don’t sell the corner clips separately, so we’ve selected clip-on straps as our preferred mounting method for the ProSlate line of systems. The WinSlate keyguards can all be mounted with micro-suction tape.
These keyguards (like the official ones) are unusual in that they have a top surface that extends outward nearly to the edges of the case. You should consider printing these designs on their face rather than facing upward, as is the case with other keyguards. This will eliminate the need to use large amounts of support material, but will test your printer’s ability to produce a high-quality first layer.

ProSlate 13D
WinSlate for Kids (with Enable Eyes)
The WinSlate for Kids system uses an OEM version of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, 5, 6, or 7 tablet. These all have a 2736 x 1824 pixel screen and the same footprint, so we’ve simply referred to this as a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 tablet.
This keyguard should be printed normally, face up, on the build surface, and should be attached using micro-suction tape.
---- Tablet ----
type_of_tablet = Surface Pro 7
---- Tablet Case ----
height_of_opening_in_case = 199
width_of_opening_in_case = 288
If the Enable Eyes module has been added to the system, include the following instruction in the openings_and_additions.txt file. Also, the keyguard should be printed face down on the build surface. It will still be attached using micro-suction tape.
case_additions=[
// ID, x, y, width, height, shape, thickness, trim above, trim below, trim to right, trim to left, corner radius
[ 1, cow/2, 0, 236, 5, "-cr", 3, -999, -999, -999, -999, 0],
